This was purely a commercial decision.
Free lifetime Local Edition licence for subscribers
BA Copilot's paid subscription service ended on 15 September 2026. Subscriptions were set to end without renewal. No further subscription charges are being taken.
Customers whose paid subscription time extended beyond the closure time were allocated a lifetime BA Copilot Local Edition licence for each paid seat. This is the same licence offered for $350 USD per seat during the final paid sale. The offline key was sent to the subscription email address and should be in that inbox. The Closure Centre shows its delivery status. No further action or acceptance was required.
The published refund-choice window closed on 15 September 2026 at 23:59 (Europe/London). If no pro-rata refund choice was recorded by the deadline, the Local Edition licence became the default option.
