BA Copilot is closing
BA Copilot will cease commercial operations on 15 September 2026 at 23:59 (Europe/London).
From this time, BA Copilot will no longer accept new customers, offer paid subscriptions, or operate as a commercially supported product.
This is purely a commercial decision. This page covers what it means for you and what you can do before that date.
Free lifetime Local Edition licence for subscribers
All BA Copilot subscriptions will be cancelled as part of the closure, and there will be no further subscription charges after 15 September 2026.
If your paid subscription time extends beyond the closure time, you will automatically receive a lifetime BA Copilot Local Edition licence for each paid seat, at no cost. This is the same licence offered for $350 USD per seat during the final paid sale. Your offline key will be issued automatically after closure; no further action or acceptance is required.
BA Copilot Local Edition is the desktop version of BA Copilot. It installs on your own Windows or Mac computer and keeps working after BA Copilot Cloud closes. Your process maps, your data, and the AI processing stay on your device. It can run fully offline (air-gapped) with compatible local AI models, or connect to your own compatible AI model. Because you can connect newer compatible models, the product’s quality and speed can still improve as models improve.
The licence is for life. Its signed key activates without an internet connection and without a BA Copilot licensing server, so nothing that closes with BA Copilot Cloud can switch it off.
If you would prefer a pro-rata cash refund for the unused paid portion instead, submit your choice from your BA Copilot account before 15 September 2026 at 23:59 (Europe/London).
If you do not choose a refund by the deadline, the Local Edition entitlement will be recorded as the default option.
Paid lifetime Local Edition licence for non-subscribers (final sale)
Until 15 September 2026 at 23:59 (Europe/London), you can buy a lifetime licence for BA Copilot Local Edition version 1 for $350 USD per seat. This is BA Copilot’s final paid sale before closure.

If you do not have an eligible paid BA Copilot subscription, you will not automatically receive a free licence. Buy this licence if you want to keep using BA Copilot as a desktop product after Cloud closes.
The licence permits lifetime business use of the licensed version 1 edition, including internal work and work for clients. An organisation owns its seats, receives every seat key at its purchase email address, and may reassign a seat by removing the key from the old user’s device and giving the same key to the replacement user. Resale, redistribution, and hosting BA Copilot Local as a product or service are not permitted.
The licence does not include ongoing support, an SLA, guaranteed updates, or a commitment to future development. Because you can connect newer compatible models, the product’s quality and speed can still improve as models improve.
You can try a free evaluation copy first.
